About

Anupam Mittal founded Shaadi.com in 1997, before online matchmaking was a category. Over the next two decades he went on to build People Group, which operates and invests in tech and D2C companies, and founded India's first mobile gaming company, Mauj Mobile.

He has backed over 250 early-stage startups including Ola, BigBasket, Rupeek, Agnikul, Rapido, and WhatFix. He is widely known as one of India's most active angel investors and has appeared as a Shark on Shark Tank India across Seasons 1 through 5.
