Connect your own domain

Verify ownership, DNS and HTTPS before routing your store.

The 30-second answer

When setup is available on Growth or Scale, open Domains and enter a domain you control. Add the displayed DNS and verification records. Your store uses the domain only after ownership and HTTPS checks pass.

Configure DNS

Copy the target and verification records shown in Domains into your DNS provider. For a root domain, use supported CNAME flattening or ALIAS. Keep your existing email records. DNS propagation and certificate issuance can take time.

Check both certificates

The workspace shows separate store and www certificate status. Choose Check again after changing DNS. Your Aksara store address stays available while verification is pending.

Replace or remove a domain

A verified current domain remains connected until its replacement is ready. Removal stays available after a plan downgrade. Remove DNS records at your provider after cleanup completes.

Use platform recovery

Storefront and product pages use verified custom domains. Authentication, payment returns and buyer recovery use Aksara so account access remains consistent.

What success looks like

The verified domain opens the correct published storefront and product pages over HTTPS.

Can I use a domain I do not own?

No. Ownership and certificate verification are required.
