Import an existing catalog

Bring files and private resource links into unpublished drafts.

Updated October 7, 2026

The 30-second answer

When available, download the template and add up to 500 file or private-link rows. Validate the CSV, then create drafts. Upload your own files with matching names; links do not need an upload. Review your page and selected offers before publishing.

Open catalog import

Use the template

Keep the column names. Use file or external_link in delivery_type. File rows need an exact filename without a folder path or URL. Private links need an HTTPS destination and an empty filename; link_label is optional. Enter prices in your payout currency. Existing file-only templates still work. Historical orders are not imported.

Review validation and mapping

The preview shows errors for each row. Invalid rows are skipped; correct them in a new CSV. Files stay on your device until you start uploads. Every file product gets its own uploaded copy. Link rows keep their destination private and show its host for review. Make sure the external resource permissions let the intended buyer open it.

Resume an interrupted import

Open the saved import and select your files again. Draft creation and transfer keys are durable. Completed file registrations are skipped. Links are ready for review after draft creation. Review a draft separately to replace a file that differs from the saved transfer. If your page changes during an upload, keep the uploaded copy and retry after loading the latest revision.

Review and publish

Imported offers stay private. Creating drafts invalidates an earlier publication approval. Add covers, check prices and policies, wait for clean-file checks and review your page again before publishing selected ready offers. Importing does not copy purchases, reviews or buyer access. New file imports, private links and free resources each follow their own availability checks.

What success looks like

Valid rows appear as private drafts with independently uploaded files or private-link resources, ready for publication review.

Common questions

Can Aksara fetch files from another store?

No. Select files you control from your own device. A private-link destination is delivered as a link; Aksara does not fetch or copy its contents.

Can I import calls or historical sales?

This importer supports files and private resource links. It does not import call schedules, purchases or reviews.
