Understand fees and payouts

Separate sales, Aksara fees, Stripe fees, and bank payouts.

Updated October 3, 2026

The 30-second answer

Check Orders for the sale and Payouts for the connected-account status. The sale total, Aksara fee, Stripe processing fees and bank payout are different amounts. Use Stripe to confirm when money is available and when it reaches your bank.

Open Payouts

Know which fees apply

Starter: $0/month and 8% Aksara transaction fee. Growth: $19/month and 3% Aksara transaction fee. Scale: $59/month and 1% Aksara transaction fee. Stripe payment-processing fees are additional. Processing rates depend on your connected account and payment method. Taxes, refunds and currency conversion can also affect the final amount.

Check the order and Stripe balance

An order's total is not the amount that reaches your bank. Open Orders for the sale details. Use Payouts to view the connected account's available payment and balance information. Stripe is the authority for processing fees and payout status.

Follow your payout schedule

Stripe pays your connected account according to its payout schedule and availability rules. Verification requirements, an initial payout wait, refunds or a negative balance can affect timing. Check the expected date in Stripe rather than assuming an instant bank transfer.

What success looks like

You can identify the sale amount, each fee, the connected-account balance and the bank payout as separate amounts.

Common questions

Does a successful sale mean the money is in my bank?

No. Payment confirmation, balance availability and bank payout are separate events. Check Stripe for the payout's status.

Who is selling to the buyer?

The connected creator is the seller for product sales. Aksara provides the store software and receives its application fee.

Where are my sales?

Orders lists your sales. Before Checkout launch or your first completed sale, it can be empty. Empty Orders is not evidence that a test payment succeeded.
